You can roam up to 350 feet from the base station — enough to walk to the printer, break room, or colleague’s desk without dropping the call.
Three-way connectivity lets you pair the headset with your desk phone via the included EHS cable or handset lifter, your computer via USB, and a smartphone over Bluetooth 5.0 simultaneously. A dedicated call-control button on the headset cycles between lines so you can answer the desk phone while already on a Teams call, then switch back without returning to your desk. The base displays active-connection icons so you always know which line is live.

Each 7220 battery delivers 13 hours of continuous talk time, which covers a full shift with margin for late meetings. The charging base includes a spare battery slot — when your active battery drops below 10 percent a voice alert prompts you to swap. Pull the depleted cell from the headset, slide in the fresh one from the base dock, and drop the used battery into the vacant slot to recharge. The entire swap takes under five seconds and you never miss a word.
Both batteries charge simultaneously when docked, so you always have a backup ready. A full recharge cycle completes in three hours. The base also houses DECT and Bluetooth antennas, desk-phone interface ports, and a USB-A pass-through for connecting your computer.
